Schedule a Personalized Campus Tour
We at St. Thomas University will be offering virtual visits and on campus walking tours. In order to facilitate this, safety measures are being implemented. Tours will be offered as walking tours preferably, unless a specific request for a golf cart is made. One family will be allowed in a given golf cart at a time. Athletic coaches will handle campus tours for athletes, while admissions team members will handle other visits. Athletic tours will begin in the Fernandez Center and other tours will begin in Mimi Dooner Hall. We will provide with instructions before arrival on campus. This is due to concerns regarding the global spread of COVID-19. The health and safety of all members of our community is our highest priority at STU.
During campus visits the following guidelines are to be followed, including but not limited to CDC recommendations listed here.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) while on campus, guests are encouraged to bring their own gloves and masks with them.
- Honor social distancing requirements by keeping 6 feet apart.
- Do not shake hands. Instead our greeting will be the Bobcat claw.
- Allow tour guides, who should have gloves, to open doors.
- Tours will be limited in size, please only bring necessary family members.
- Wash your hands regularly, for 20 seconds.
- Avoid contact with your face.
For any questions, please contact Jamie Spruill, Coordinator of Guest Relations, at 305.474.6828 or jspruill@stu.edu.
